What began as a simple open-air alfresco has now become one of the home’s standout features. For this project in Moe, our clients wanted a space that could adapt to the seasons—open and breezy in summer, warm and protected in winter, and seamlessly connected to the rest of the house year-round.
We transformed the existing alfresco into a fully enclosed sunroom, carefully integrating new structure, glazing and finishes so the extension feels original to the home. The hero of the space is the full-height stacking sliding doors, which allow the entire room to open up to the outdoors in a single sweep. When closed, they offer light, comfort and warmth without sacrificing that outdoor feel.
The finished sunroom is now a bright, flexible entertaining space that flows naturally from the main living area—perfect for family gatherings, morning sunshine, or simply extending the home’s usable footprint in a way that feels effortless.
