This renovation in Warragul began long before we stepped inside the home. Our first interaction with the clients was months earlier, when they reached out about replacing a set of rotted portico beams that had suffered years of weather exposure. We rebuilt the portico with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship as the original structure—so seamlessly that it looked like it had always belonged there.
That experience set the foundation for what came next. After enjoying the process and the quality of the portico works, the clients reconnected with us to help them transform the inside of their home as well. The brief was clear: update the bathroom, laundry and kitchen in a way that felt fresh and functional, while still honouring the character of their much-loved home.
A key focus of the renovation was future ease of living. We reworked the layouts to improve flow and accessibility, incorporating a flush-entry shower, over-height toilet, and thoughtful spatial planning to support the clients as they age. The result is a series of beautifully modernised spaces that respect the home’s original charm while enhancing comfort, practicality and long-term liveability.
